Description

Dragon Pool Park is located in the south of Liuzhou City. It is large touring scenery which has combined karst natural landscape, custom and culture of South Chinese minorities, sub-tropic karst plant researching, popular science and scenery all together. Dragon Pool Park is surrounded by flourishing forest and mountains. Those different-shaped 24 peaks such as Wohu Mountain, Meinv Peak and Kongque Mountain etc. are standing among the one lake (Mirror Lake), two pools (Dragon Pool and Thunder Pool) and four valleys. The limpid spring on the foot of Thunder Mountain pools Dragon Pool between Thunder Mountain and Dragon Mountain, and the nearby Thunder Pool is connected with it through an underground river. The limpid pool water flows through “Eight Dragon Spouting the Snow Dam” into Mirror Lake, and then flows through the park like a swimming dragon into the cave on the foot of Penghua Mountain out of the park. Take a touring in Dragon Pool Park, you will not only enjoy the wonderful landscape of sub-tropic karst area and different types of buildings of minorities, but also various performance of folk songs and dances in the local stockaded village and the delicious and unique dishes of minorities.
